YEAR 10 IB-LINK PROGRAM

YEAR 10 ENTRY POINT TO THE SENIOR IB DIPLOMA PROGRAMME

The Year 10 IB Link program has been developed as an entry point for (Alamanda P-9 College) students seeking to continue their IB education.
The program is intended for students wishing to undertake the Senior IB Diploma Programme in years 11 and 12 at Werribee Secondary College.
IB-Link focuses on enquiry based assessments, extended investigations and the community.

Alamanda Students considering the Year 10 IB LINK program at Werribee Secondary College will need to undertake a selection test (EDUTEST).
Please follow the below instructions to register for the Edutest and complete our application process.


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR IB-LINK

Only Alamanda P-9 College students are eligible to sit this entrance test.
Alamanda College student applications to the IB Link program must complete the 2 steps below:

STEP 1. Register and pay for the EduTest by 26th May 2021

REGISTER & PAY FOR EDUTEST

FOR ALAMANDA STUDENTS ONLY | REGISTRATION CLOSED 26 MAY 2021
COST: $100 (non-refundable)
Please Note: Due the recent lockdown restrictions, arrangements for this test have changed.
If you have registered with Edutest you will be contacted directly regarding information on how to take the test.
Please do not worry if you were not able to complete/return your ‘school’ application – so long as you registered for the EduTest arrangements will be made when school reopens after lockdown.


STEP 2. Complete application form & provide copies of below documents by 28th May 2021

– Complete reports for 2020
– Year 7 NAPLAN results
– A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate
– A copy of the applicant’s passport and visa (if not an Australian citizen)
– Any other relevant information to support your child’s application

When available, complete semester 1 report for 2021 (please email this separately when you receive it)

TESTING DAY INFORMATION

Please Note that completing the EduTest does not guarantee enrolment.
Successful applicants will be advised of their placement by 19th July 2021.

Please Note: In the event that there is an excess of admission applications over the number of available places, the College has a restricted capacity to enrol new students.  Admission is conditional upon:

  • Participation in the EduTest
  • There being vacancies at the appropriate Year Level.
  • Students having achieved the academic standards required
  • Having submitted the application form and required supporting documents
