NAIDOC Week 2020

8-15 November 2020
‘Always Was, Always Will Be’

NAIDOC week is a time to celebrate the contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to Australia.  It is a time when we recognise and pay respect to our First Nation people and their unique cultural perspective. This years theme ‘Always Was, Always Will Be’ recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years.

We encourage our community to get involved in the NAIDOC celebrations. Our College has arranged a ‘Welcome to Country’ by Darlene Miller, a Wurundjeri Elder, which will be performed for students prior to lunch on Tuesday. Another great online event from Parks Victoria is pictured below.
